Money For Nothing

The Malaysian Government paid sleazy Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff US$1.2 million to arrange a meeting between President George Bush and Dr M in 2002.

That's a lot of money, especially as it didn't do much good for the country, let alone Mahathir.

As the Los Angeles Times reports, "the meeting rehabilitated the Malaysian leader's reputation only temporarily."

And here - the ultimate irony:
On one occasion, Abramoff — an orthodox Jew and a supporter of Israel — was asked whether he was comfortable representing a country led by a man known for anti-Semitic comments.

Abramoff responded, "They pay their bills on time."

The reverse could be asked of Mahathir, whether he was comfortable dealing with a man known for his support of Israel.

"He got me a meeting with Bush," would probably be his answer.

So why was a meeting with Bush so important for Mahathir?

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

So, after paid out USD 1.2 million, approx. RM4.3 million for meeting Bush from all Malaysians money, then how much shall we pay for meeting Obama?

RM4.3 million (RM4,300,000) can build how many houses for people? Can build how many long house in Sarawak? Can build how many Chinese/ Tamil/ Kadazan & Dusun School/ Religiou School in Sabah, Sarawak & West Malaysia?

It's pity that a lot of the primary schools still in bad-shaped, buruk-buruk, the secondary schools also facing a lot of problems--recent one, in Lukut, in Negeri Sembilan, students study without textbooks! Terrible man, but it is the truth!

So, we now know why we don't have text books for primary & secondary school students? Money has gone just to meet Mr Bush?

So, brothers and sisters, now shall our leader wish to meet Mr Obama, then the market price now is at least USD 3 million or RM12 million!!! Let's bid for it!!!
(Still using people's money, yeh!!!)

Put in your blog, so you can always remember and do not be fooled again!
